When online dating doesn’t work

Most of the time online dating works well.
Results are good, but it depends on how you measure success.
Finding your match.
This may not be the outcome you’d expected. Some dating sites are better than others. Finding your match is the key reason for joining in the first place.
It is widely thought that FREE Dating Sites are the worst performers, as the majority of members join just because it’s free, and are not really serious about the whole game.
There are also very expensive dating sites, where all sorts of Algorithms are used, at great cost to you, to find your perfect match.
Quite often that is money wasted. Better to target a reputable middle ground site that might cost £20 to £30 a month – you don’t need to pay more.
Making the experience work for you is largely down to you, yourself.
A dating site can keep providing a never-ending list of possible suitors. Many of whom don’t really suit at all.
It’s up to you to invest some time, even a lot of time, into sorting out the gold from the gravel, the time wasters from the too-good-to-be-trues and the good, the bad and the ugly.
The drop out rate can be high in many cases, so multi-task – it’s not tacky or unsavoury – it gives you a higher chance of meeting the one. Maybe the only one.

I joined match.com and found some great women. I met a few, but most were too far to travel to, sensibly. I was in the forces but left with some injuries, so I always explain this to women before we get too involved. I tired lots of other dating sites, and found the best was Parship. I enjoyed using that site and also joined UdateME. Now things began to speed up. I had 3 dates within a week. The second date was the answer to my prayers. Amazing to meet Fiona, and we fell head over heals in love. Been going out for 3 months and don't need any dating sites any more, but thanks anyway for the best result.
